INTRODUCING DR. VANESSSA MARINHO

Dr. Vanessa C Marinho is a distinguished periodontist, holding a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) earned in 1991 from Paulista University, Brazil. Her journey in periodontology led her to the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), School of Dentistry, where she participated in the Preceptorship Program, engaging in extensive research projects, clinical procedures, and co-authoring notable contributions to the field.

In 1997, Dr. Marinho furthered her education, attaining a Master of Science Degree in Craniofacial Biology and a Certificate in Periodontics from the esteemed University of Southern California (USC). Throughout her academic tenure, she actively contributed to research initiatives focused on dental implantology and bone healing.

With a passion for teaching, Dr. Marinho served as a clinical assistant professor at both UCLA and USC undergraduate dental clinics, garnering recognition as a Distinguished Part-time Faculty Member at the USC School of Dentistry.

For 18 years, Dr. Marinho proudly owned and operated her periodontal practice, Bellair Periodontics, in Arizona. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond clinical practice, as she led a national Spear Study Club in Phoenix for three years.

Now returning to California, Dr. Marinho eagerly continues her dedication to delivering top-tier periodontal treatment. She remains at the forefront of her field by dedicating countless hours to continuing education, ensuring her patients benefit from the latest advancements in treatment modalities.

A respected member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, ITI (International Team for Implantology), and Academy of Osseointegration, Dr. Marinho exemplifies excellence and commitment to her craft.
